NEW YORK La manzana Bíblica
No hay ciudad en el mundo que te haga sentir tanto en casa, porque vengas de donde vengas seguro que tu nacionalidad esta representada en Nueva York. Desde que a Henry Hudson se le ocurriera llegar y asentarse allí en 1609, la gente no ha parado de venir.
Ya ha llovido mucho desde entonces y aunque poco vestigio queda de esos tiempos, pero si hay bastante caracter en la fisonomía de esta ciudad de rascacielos.
There is no city in the world that makes you feel more at home, because no matter where you come from, chances are your nationality is represented here in New York. Since Henry Hudson had the idea of making a settlement there in 1609, people have not stopped coming in. It has rained plenty since but there is plenty of character in the physiognomy of this sky scraper city.
Hay un importante pulmón para esta ciudad tan rellena de gente yendo y viniendo a todas horas, Central Park , adorado por todos esos Neoyorquinos con falta de aire yamantes del deporte y naturaleza . Central Park comprende 843 acres que son 3.41 Km cuadrados. Es el parque urbano más visitado de todo Estados Unidos, ahí llegan unos 25 millones de turistas al año! Puedes hacer casi de todo, patinar en hielo, remar, bicicleta, ir a caballo, skateboard, si eres músico ahí puedes lanzarte y si pintas o eres fotógrafo, la inspiracion es imparable. También hay un zoológico y muchas atracciones para grandes y pequeños.
There is a very important lung for this city filled up with people coming and going continuously, Central Park , revered by all those New Yorkers in need of open space and fans of sports and nature. Central Park expands through 843 Acres. It is the most visited urban park in all United States, about 25 million people go every year! You can do practically anything there, ice skating, rowing, cycling, horse riding, skateboarding, if you are a musician you can play there and if you are a painter or photographer, there is inspiration forever.
They also have a Zoo and so many other attractions everyone can do something.
The lower west part of the city has the West Village , it is an enchanting part of the city which can make you feel , as if you are living in a small town. In one same street you can find , a bread shop, Fish store,meat market, the cake makers, just like way back when life was simpler , people know each other and they say hello , buildings are not as tall and older , there are families that have lived in the same apartments for generations. It is just when you look up that you realize you are in the belly of some fantastic monster that allows you to do whatever you want within.
Hay tantisimo mas que decir de este lugar caótico y maravillosos al mismo tiempo que no hay suficiente tiempo para ello. La fama de que Nueva York es una ciudad dura e imperdonable se debe contrastar con el hecho de que tambien es un lugar lleno de gente con corazones enormes y con ganas de ayudar a los demas si se les pregunta. Esta ciudad es uno de sos sitios que te marca de por vida y uno siempre lleva consigo.
There is so much more to be said about this chaotic and wonderful place, there is not enough time for it. The reputation that precedes New York as a tough city is also contrasted by the fact that is a place full of people with big harts and willing to help each other, This city is one of those places that will mark you for life and you will always feel it inside.
