Nuevamente estamos con otra entrevista a una destacadas miembros de nuestro equipo. Esta semana es el turno de Maro, otra increíble diseñadora de joyas de Puerto Rico. Su trabajo es hermoso. Deberían pasar por su tienda Maro47.
We are back again with another fun interview. This week is time for Maro an incredible PuertoRican jewelry designer. Her work is just beautiful, you should check her Etsy Store at Maro47.
Puedes contarnos un poco de ti?
Nací en los Estados Unidos, pero vivo en la Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico, desde los tres años. Actualmente resido junto a mi familia en el poblado de La Parguera ubicado en el pueblo de Lajas. Me gusta la tranquilidad que respiro, lejos del bullicio típico de los centros urbanos. Me apasiona caminar por las tardes en la búsqueda de los impresionantes atardeceres. Compartir con mis hijos me llena de satisfacción, sobre todo saber y sentir que el sentimiento es correspondido.
Could you tell us a little about yourself?
I was born in the US but I've been living in "La Isla del Encanto", Puerto Rico for 3 years. I live with my family in la Parquera, in the Town of Lajas. I like the tranquility that I breathe, away from noisy cities. I love to walk in the evenings searching stunning dusks. Sharing with my kids gives me full satisfaction, specially when you know that is a mutual feeling.
Cómo empezó tu tienda?
Mi tienda comenzó en noviembre de 2010, motivada por el deseo de dar a conocer internacionalmente mis diseños, meta que puedo asegurar, va por buen camino.
How did your shop get started?
My store started on November 2010, motivated to show my designs internationally, This goal I'm pretty sure is gonna happen very soon.
Qué te inspira?
Mi inspiración proviene de las cosas que me rodea, desde la más humilde de las piedras hasta la inmensidad imponente del Mar Caribe.
What inspires you the most? My inspiration comes from all things that surround me. From the humble stones to the immensity of the Caribbean Ocean.
Día o Noche?
Definitivamente el amanecer, ese punto medio entre la huida de la noche y la bienvenida del Sol.
Day or night?
Definitely dawn, It the point between the night goes and the sun comes.
Cuál es tu olor favorito?
Mis niños al despertar.
What is your Favorite smell?
My kids when they awake
