Siempre me sentí atraída por la belleza y la estética de los objetos antiguos, en especial por los botones y las puntillas. Hace tres años, aproximadamente, tuve ganas de hacer algo con la cajita de botones que había recopilado hasta el momento y comencé a convertirlos en collares. Desde entonces, seguí en la búsqueda constante de “nuevos viejos” botones para transformarlos en accesorios. Me encanta poder combinar los colores y las formas. Cada pieza es única y la trabajo como si fuese un pequeño collage que muchas veces nace de alguna imagen de inspiración y otras, simplemente de ideas.

Un tiempo después de comenzar con los accesorios, me empecé a interesar también por la joyería contemporánea y se abrió un mundo maravilloso para mí. Realizar mis joyas y mis accesorios, me permite expresar ideas, sensaciones y sentimientos que, hasta ahora, no había podido descubrir a través de otra disciplina artística.

Día a día, sigo estudiando, investigando, mirando y encontrando cosas nuevas que me gratifican y me hacen feliz en este camino que para mí, recién comienza.



I have always loved the beauty of antiques, specially buttons and lace.
Three years ago, I wanted to do something with the buttons box that I had collected until that moment, so I started to make them into necklaces. Since then I have been searching “new old buttons” to make them into different accessories.
I enjoy a lot mixing their colours and shapes. Every piece is unique and I work on them as if they were little collages which are based on a particular inspiration and some other times on just ideas.

Not long after that I started to be interested in contemporary jewellery too and I discovered a wonderful world!
Making my jewelery and accessories lets me express ideas and feelings that I had not been able to do before through another artistic discipline.

Every day I go on studying, searching, looking for and finding new things that make me happy. But this journey has just begun.
