Hoy es el tiempo de bodas y prom de escuelas y que mejor que un accesorio elegante y simple para adornar nuestra muñeca.
With Prom and Wedding season kicking off why not create a simple and beautiful hand corsage to accessory our formal wear.
Tiempo: 1 hora
Time: 1 hour
Materiales:
-Tela de organza o seda
-Papel y Lápiz
-Hilo
-Aguja
-Alicates
-Tijeras
-Listón
-Encendedor o Mechero
-Perlas, Botón, Etc..
Materials:
-Organza or Silk Fabric
-Pencil and Paper
-Thread
-Needle
-Pliers
-Scissors
-Ribbon
-Pearls, Buttons, Rhinestones, Etc.
2. En un papel dibuja un pétalo de 2 pulgadas ( 5cm ) de largo y recorta la plantilla. Dobla la tela diagonalmente y después cruza la esquina del triángulo de enfrente y atrás. Pon su pétalo pegado y usa la aguja para asegurar que no se vaya a mover la tela y recorta el pétalo. Ahora tendrás una flor con 6 pétalos.
Recortá el resto de la tela.
No importa si no te salen perfectas las flores. Eso le dará más personalidad a la flor.
2. On a piece of paper draw a simple teardrop petal measuring about 2 inches long and cut it out. Fold a square piece of organza in half diagonally and then into thirds. Lay your template on top and I usually use a needle to hold all pieces together while I cut around the petal. Now you will have a flower with 6 petals. Finish the rest of your flowers. Don't worry if your flowers aren't cut perfect, this will just give your flower more personality.
3. Cuando ya tengas las flores recortadas y para darle forma a las puntas usa un encendedor y con el alicate sostén la flor y muy delicadamente acerca la flor a la llamas, pero no dejes que toque la tela sino se quemará. Verás que la tela se va a chamuscar en las puntas. Has todas las flores de la misma manera. Tomará algún tiempito poder lograr que se doblen las puntas. Paciencia!
3. When all your pieces are cut out soften the edges with a lighter to singe the fabric. Use your pliers to hold the flower and hold the flame about 1/4 inch away from the fabric and you will see your fabric curve. Be careful not to touch the flame as it will burn. It takes a bit of practice and patience.
4. Once you have singed all your flowers, pile them together and in the center sew them together. For the center be creative and use whatever is at your disposal, such as pearls, beads, rhinestone, buttons, etc.

5. Para terminar tu corsage y poder amarrartela a la muñeca corta 2 pedazos de listón 12 pulgadas ( 30.5 cm ) de largo, cóselo en el centro de la flor y ya tendrás tu elegante corsage de flor.
