Nací en Barcelona(Spain )donde estudié cerámica en la escuela massana, y donde abrí mi primer taller de cerámica… En el 2004 me trasladé a vivir a Pamplona (por razones sentimentales) y monté Niu, mi taller-tienda.
Desde entonces trato de ganarme la vida con lo que hago, y aunque no es fácil voy logrando salir adelante, además de vender en mi tienda, y a otras tiendas, doy clases de cerámica…y ahora he abierto mi espacio en etsy…

I was born in Barcelona(Spain), where I studied ceramics at the Massana School, and where I opened my first ceramics workshop ... In 2004 I moved to live in Pamplona (for sentimental reasons) and created Niu, my studio-shop.
Since then I try to make a living with what I do, and although it is not easy I go ahead, along with selling at my store and to other shops, I teach ceramics ... and now I opened my etsy space ..
En niu realizo todo tipo de piezas de cerámica, cuadros, vasijas, platos, tazas, joyas…pero siempre piezas únicas o series limitadas.
Me gusta estar siempre experimentando y haciendo cosas nuevas, si tuviera que hacer siempre lo mismo acabaría aburriendo la cerámica, también me gusta probar con otras disciplinas y a veces las combino con mi trabajo…De momento en etsy estoy vendiendo principalmente las joyas (me parecía más fácil de abarcar) …
In Niu I make all kinds of ceramics pieces, paintings, vessels, plates, mugs, jewelry ... but always one-of-a-kind pieces or limited series.
I like to keep experimenting and doing new things, if I had to do the same thing all time I will finish boring ceramics ...I also like to try other disciplines and sometimes I combined them with my work At the moment I'm mainly selling on etsy my jewelry staff (it seemed easier to cover) ...
Me gusta mucho la porcelana, es un barro que queda muy blanco después de cocerlo y tiene una textura agradable al tacto. Al estar cocido a alta temperatura (yo cuezo la porcelana a 1250ª) esta muy vitrificada y ofrece más calidad que otros barros por lo que siempre me ha parecido un material ideal para hacer joyas. Además su blancura resulta muy favorecedora, combina bien con la piel. La trabajo tanto sin esmalte como con esmaltes fabricados artesanalmente por mí y a veces la combino con otros materiales como semillas o cuentas de madera o cristal para darle más colorido.
I love porcelain after cooking is very white and has a nice texture to the touch. When cooked at high temperature (I cook porcelain to1250 degrees) is highly vitrified and offers more quality than other cáliz, it has always seemed to me an ideal material for making jewelry. Its whiteness is very suitable, it combines well with the skin. I I work it both without and with enamel glazes produced handmade by me and sometimes combined with other materials such as seeds or wood or glass beads to make it more colorful.
Últimamente estoy trabajando en la serie blanco y negro, dibujo las piezas de porcelana con motivos geométricos o inspirados en estampados textiles en negro, y esta serie es la que podéis ver ahora en etsy, espero que os guste. …Saludos a todos los miembros del team!!!

Hola Amigos,
Amor de Plata esta tratando de comenzar su nueva vida aqui en Indiana, USA. Está un poco más frio que las islas de Hawaii aqui, y con menos sol. La nieve es algo nuevo para mi, pero me gusta mucho. El lugar es muy bonito con menos gente. Ahorita se comienza a ver senas de flores de muchos colores. Extraño mis amigos de Hawaii, pero espero hacer muchos nuevos amigos donde estoy. Yo y mi esposo Ray, vivimos con mi hermano, su esposa y sus dos hijas chicas. Ray también esta contento de vivir más cerca de su hija y hermana.
Ahorita tengo más tiempo para mi tienda de Etsy y hacer mis joyas. Acabo de terminar un colgante de un pajarito sobre un árbol. Otra de mis piezas es un corazón grande con pedazos de plata sobre el frente para que brille mas. La otra pieza es una pelota de plata. Las pelotas me gustan porque brillan tan bonito, y llaman mucho la atención. Espero les guste y después les platico más.

No cabe duda que el profesionalismo ante sus creaciones hace destacar la calidad de todo lo que realiza.
Pero se pone aún más interesante cuando esta artista porteña decide ir más alla de una simple joya para convertirla en una obra de arte y un ejemplo de creatividad. Creo, sin duda, que esto lo logra con su magnífica serie lúdica. Son joyas de plata, preciosas, excelentemente terminadas y con una especie de pequeño juego incluído. Podemos admirar sus anillos con chapitas que recorren rieles y van haciendo variar el diseño tallado, o los "Dijes Juego" con bolitas y obstaculos, con transparencias en acrilico.
No quiero dejar de mencionar sus otros experimentos con bellísimas telas o delicadas piedras en tonos varios.
Es evidente que estas joyas no podrían ser confundidas ni mimetizarse con la joyeria del montón, y aún así, no pierden ese toque de elegancia y buen gusto que siempre se busca en un material como la plata.
Claramente Muriel ha encontrado una vuelta de tuerca muy interesante dentro de la joyería tradicional, y ese es el valor agregado de esta artista que nos deslumbra dia a dia con sus piezas de colección.
With a clear industrial tendency in her work, Muriel Clemenceau creates an imaginary space where techniques and materials combine in an infinitely rich variety. This virtual creative space goes by the name of Mu, urban jewelry.
No doubt, her professional approach to her creations highlights the quality of everything she makes.
But it gets even more interesting when this “porteña”* artist decides to go beyond simple jewelry to transform it in a work of art and an example of creativity. I believe without doubt that this is achieved in her magnificent ludic series. They are silver jewels, preciously and superbly finished and with a kind of embedded game in them. We can admire her sliding pendants, which vary their engraved design as they slide on tracks, or her “Charms Game” with spheres and obstacles with acrylic transparencies.
I don’t want to forget to mention her other experiments with beautiful fabrics or delicate stones in various shades.
Evidently these jewels could not be confused or disappear among common jewelry, and they don’t lose that touch of elegance and good taste that we always look for in a material such as silver.
Clearly Muriel has found a very interesting twist within traditional jewelry, and that is the added value form this artist that amazes us day by day with her collections.
